Distance learning

Distance learning is a way of teaching, which is carried out with application of information and communication technologies and telecommunication means at mediate (at distance) or not completely mediate interaction of the student and teacher;

Remote educational technologies are based on conducting remote classes in “online”, “offline” mode. Studies in “online” mode provide for the process of educational interaction in real time (a videoconference, by means of message exchange on the Internet, by exchanging remarks on the telephone). Studies in “offline” mode provide for the process of educational interaction where the teacher and a student’s communication is asynchronous (e-mail, a student’s work with the course book on the teacher’s tasks with subsequent taking the midterm and final exams).

The current control of students’ advancement and midterm assessment is carried out according to the curriculum, the academic calendar and educational programs.

Teaching with application of remote educational technologies gives a student the following opportunities and advantages:
- receiving the first (after college) or the second (third) higher education, professional retraining, advanced training;
- individual curriculum, independent planning of a learning curve, reduction of  the training period;
- on-the-job training;
- saving of time and finance.

Everyone who wishes to have formal academic education on extramural studies by means of remote educational technologies is welcome to our University! You can learn the information about Regulations of Admission and Entrance to distance learning in the Selection Committee.
