International relations

International relations of the university are realized by four directions:

*Carrying out joint research with partner higher educational establishments (HEE)
*Training courses for the university faculty members and graduates
*Organization of students' theoretical and practical internship abroad
*Training of Master Degree and PhD students jointly with HEE of Mongolia, China and Russia

• University cooperates with such international funds as: GTZ, DAAD, LOGO (Germany), MASHAV (Israel), FEP, ACCELS, USAID, JFDP, IREX, Global Education (USA), InterVarsity (Canada), British Council (United Kingdom), Asian research programs (Korea), Indian Council for Cultural Relations (India), France Alliance (France)

• The University is an active participant of the following of different funds: CIMMYT “International relations in agricultural research in Central Asia and Caucasus” (USA, 2003), Volkswagen Fund “Insurance of grain sowings in Kazakhstan” (Germany, 2003); American society of environment protection “ Phytoremidiation of polluted soils with pesticides” (USA, 2003), Department of Agriculture of the USA “Adaptation of corns in Kazakhstan” (USA, 2007), TEMPUS-TASIS of European Union “Agrarian management courses”, “Practice on the farms “ (Germany, 1992), “ The development of the farms and food processing industry in Akmola region” (England, 1994), “ Sustainable development of cattle breeding in Asia” ( France, Belgium, Italy, Mongolia, 2005), “Joint master degree program on agrarian management” (Germany, Netherlands, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, 2006); “Development support and monitoring of quality education system in higher education in Kazakhstan” (Germany, England, 2007), “Development of Bachelor curriculum on “Energy management”” (Germany, Austria, Lithuania, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, 2010), “Curriculum on the base of bologna process leading to the reform of education in the field of environment protection” (Germany, Italy, Belgium, Spain, Poland, Bulgaria, 2010), Swiss fund of science “Enhancement of insurance schemes on the base of research in plant breeding”(Switzerland, 2010), “Environment protection trough development and application of sustainable Agriculture Technologies” (Portugal, Poland, Estonia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, 2011), ERASMUS MUNDUS-eASTANA (euroASIAN Starter for Technical Academic Network Application-Poland, Ireland, France, Spain, Italy, Hungary, Check Republic, England, Greece, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, 2011), ERASMUS MUNDUS-MARCO XXI (Poland, Sweden, Spain, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Belgium, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, 2011).

•Kazakh – Germany international Master course “Agrarian management” functions at the University.

•Kazakh – China Center of Science and Education functions at the University.

•Students from China, Mongolia, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia and Afghanistan study at the University.

•Faculty members and students successfully take part in the competition of international scholarship of the President of Kazakhstan “Bolashak”.

•Every summer lingua cultural program functions at the University with the participation of USA, Canada, Philippines, Holland and England students.
