Student scientific research group "Veterinary and sanitary control at the border and veterinary sanitation"

Scientific-research club has been working since 2005 on the basis of the department "Veterinary Sanitation"

The purpose of the club:

To offer the students of the specialty "Veterinary Sanitation" the methods of controlling the movement of goods under the control of veterinary supervision during import and export, finding sanitation facilities for creating sanitary well-being in livestock premises, and to impart basic skills in conducting research work in the field of veterinary medicine.

The objectives of the research club:

  • to  master veterinary and sanitary requirements and rules for the transportation of animals,  animal products and raw materials of animal origin by vehicle, railway transport, water transport and by air transport;
  • to find disinfectants used for veterinary and sanitary treatment of vehicles and livestock premises;
  • to master progressive methods of sanitation in new conditions of animal husbandry;
  • to master the skills of conducting research work in veterinary medicine

The main duties of the scientific club:  

  1. To get introduced and get in-depth knowledge on veterinary safety control and supervision;
  2. To take part in the work of scientific projects in this field;
  3. To take part in the work of scientific projects on innovative technology for the control and quality of products and the prevention of pollution of livestock products by contaminants.

        Expected Result:

  1. Full participation in research projects;
  2. Based on the results of the work presentation with a report at the scientific and production conferences of students;
  3. Performing the themes of the theses;
  4. Recommendations for the introduction of new technologies for the veterinary safety of veterinary surveillance facilities.
